Members of the Believers Worship Center have issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Christian Council of Ghana, demanding that they retract their statement labeling their leader, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, as the antichrist. This follows a press release from the Christian Council, which condemned Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah for suggesting that his image should replace the widely recognized image of Jesus.
Previously, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah had also given the Christian Council a 14-day ultimatum to retract their statements and issue an apology. However, members of the Believers Worship Center have now shortened this deadline, making their demand for a retraction more urgent.
At a recent press briefing, the church’s secretary, Mr. Maradona Amoako, issued a stern warning to those who have insulted or attacked their leader. He emphasized that the church stands united in support of Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah and condemned any derogatory remarks made against him. The church members made it clear that such behavior will no longer be tolerated.
Additionally, Nana Adutwumwaa Morosa I, the queen mother of Ahafo Kenyase No. 1, defended Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, describing him as a dedicated man of God who has devoted his life to serving the Lord and spreading the gospel. She called for respect and dignity toward him, warning that any further attacks on his character would be met with strong resistance. She also took the opportunity to advise the youth to refrain from such disruptive behavior, noting that it could cause unnecessary distractions.
