EFua Black’s level of benevolence, generosity and kindness towards the poor and the needy is unmatched. Her strong desire for the good welfare of the less privileged in society is amazing.
As part of her birthday celebration, the revered Gospel Artiste based in Takoradi, Efua BLACK, celebrated and also donated to Father’s Home Orphanage at Anto in the Western Region of Ghana.
She donated food items, including fresh tomatoes, tin tomatoes, pepper, bags of rice, salt, frozen chicken, fish, onions, Nan1, cabbage, toiletries, milk, yumvita, sachet and bottled water, bread, and drinks, among others.
EFua Black dined with the kids and served them with some delicious jollof, fried yam and popcorn.
Speaking to GH ministers.net, Efua Black noted that, her greatest desire is to establish an orphanage home and give care for orphans. “As a gospel artiste, my main purpose is to preach Christ through my music and extend the love of God to these children. I am here to make them feel part of a bigger society” she said.
She added that children at the various orphanage homes may feel sad when they see other children with their parents, and this could affect their self-esteem. Therefore, it is the responsibility of society to enhance their sense of belonging and continue to show them love.
“The Bible says love to orphans and widows is one of the greatest blessings, if they are not well managed, it could be a curse for the caretakers, so it behoves us to do our maximum best to secure the happiness of the children for God to also bless us”, she said
She called on well-meaning Ghanaians, benevolent organizations, and the Government to extend a helping hand to Father’s Home Orphanage Ministry.
She further thanked the caretakers of the Home for their great services in supporting the children and urged them to continue doing more towards the uplifting plight of the children.
Receiving the items on behalf of Father’s Home Ministry, Janet Anderson, a caretaker at the children’s home, expressed gratitude for the love and kindness shown to them by Efua Black and her team to celebrate her birthday every year with them.
She thanked the team and prayed for God to replenish anything that had been lost through the sacrifice to put smiles on the faces of the children.
The children also prayed and sang a beautiful birthday song for Efua Black.
