Steve O and The Broken Chains is a Holy Spirit driven non-denominational gospel group of young people creating positive and passionate experiences through learning and song ministration. The group has a range of uplifting, pure praise, worship, inspirational and prayer songs. Who seeks to minister songs that will draw audience and listeners to the presence of God.
Speaking at the launch, the leader and founder, Mr Stephen Owusu who has been a music director since 1995 believe that music imprints scripture and truth is in our hearts, especially for our children and the youth.
“These words learnt and sang will remain with them throughout their lifetime.”
He also believe singing builds community and enriches the lives of our ministers spiritually, emotionally, physically and psychologically.
“We want to be recognized as a Holy Spirit driven group with energy and passion for creating serious ‘ worshipful atmospheres’ for our audiences both live and digital.” He added
Mr Stephen Owusu believe in diversity as a group, to have men and women from different backgrounds who care passionately about the quality of their vocal sound, professionalism of their ministration and production values. I believe our God deserves the best and so we put our all in every ministration to deliver the best to God, our Audience and ourselves.
“We are also set to release our album in January which comprises of 20 songs.” He said
Bishop Alexander Botwey, who graced the occasion as chairman prayed for the group and advised them to do our with individual differences.
A lot of Patrons, Men of God , Ministers, industry players, Gospel artistes were all there to support this great launched.
