Ghana meets Naija again in gospel music as Ghana’s Queendalyn Yurglee collaborates with Judikay on Omewoya, meaning “It is Done” in Igbo language.

The song which was dropped on Friday, November 1, is another good collaboration, following in the footsteps of Diana Hamilton and Mercy Chinwo’s “Doing of the Lord” earlier this year.

Clouds of Glory, Queendalyn’s latest album, kicks off with the release of Omewoya recorded live on October 11 at Accra’s vibrant Prop Haven venue.

“Omewoya is not more than just a song, it’s a soulful reflection of my experiences, and a sincere tribute to the people, moments, and divine guidance that have shaped my life. It’s a celebration of gratitude and growth,” she stated.

When Queendalyn Yurglee officially launched The Birth EP in August last year, she was very hopeful her first major project would positively impact lives.

And indeed, Hold My Hands, which won her an award, was part of the five-track EP which had other songs such as Wotim Ho Daa (You remain the same) and Honhom Kronkron.

She was the only female winner on the night when she took home the TGMA Best Female Vocal Performer award after beating strong contenders in the persons of Adina, Abiana, Niella, Titi Owusu and Lordina the Soprano.

The feat was quite significant for the singer who made her debut appearance as a nominee in the prestigious awards ceremony.

Queendalyn, fondly known as Arkbearer, stated that The Birth EP falls in line with her commitment to spread the salvation message of God and the usefulness of the Holy Spirit to the Christian faith and is very positive that Clouds of Glory will equally do well, given its uplifting themes.

She stated, “I’m committed to spreading God’s salvation message through my music. Clouds of Glory will uplift and inspire, just like The Birth EP”.
