The management of Nigerian Gospel Artiste, Ada Ahi has responded to Women in Worship organizers in Ghana over the brouhaha concerning Ada not showing up for their annual event here in Ghana.

In a post sighted by ghministers.net on Caleb Nii Boye’s wall on Facebook, he noted that , some $5000(part payment of $8000) was paid for a performance at the Women in Worship Concert in Ghana this year, and she didn’t turn up for the show after she got organisers to purchase a British Airways ticket to Accra and also fly her team( band of 6 ) from Nigeria to Ghana.

In the post , he stated that, the gospel artiste said NO REFUND of the money paid to her and the team.

In another twist, there is an UPDATE FROM ADA’S MANAGEMENT ‼️

Take us to Court if they( Organisers of Women in Worship) think they have a good case.

In my earlier post this morning on Gospel Singer Ada Ahi Moses!!
I reached out to one Mathew( whom i am told is Manager to the singer)

According to Mathew they had an agreement for the artiste to come perform in Accra.
They told organisers of the fee, travel pattern and kind of tickets to book for the artiste.

They told organisers to pay 100% performance fee , but through a mutual friend( a 3rd Party) who reached out to the Artist, and pleaded that tickets sales for the event hasn’t gone through yet and can do 50% and the rest will be after the show.

They agreed to do the show hoping the organisers will fulfill their word though they knew they can’t hold the organisers after the show should they fail to.

They started demanding for Travel tickets from organisers .
According to Mathew, the tickets delayed till the day both parties had agreed for the singer to travel( which was a day to the show) and what was sent was a one way economy premium ticket which had been reserved but not paid for , this he( Mathew said he checked online)

There had Back & forth on tickets which led to the artist not flying as agreed.

So the day of the event, organisers sents an economy premium one way ticket in the morning.

Ada’s team then responds by saying “ The Artiste Cannot Fly Without A Return Ticket” ( this he said was part of the initial discussion) though they were ready to upgrade that ticket to business class

So to show good faith- the artist made her way to the Airport, had her checks in , and was waiting for for return tickets from organisers before boarding to Accra.
When it was time to board the flight and tickets had still not been sent ,, Artiste got made a quick turn and went back home.

As to the Refund—-

Manager says Organisers are not entitled to a refund because they didn’t fulfill their part of the agreement & that they can sue her( the artiste) if they feel they have a good case.

Also because ,

1. organisers made her pay to upgrade her ticket from economy premium to business class.

2. Organisers made her lock out the said date on her schedule so she couldn’t take on other shows.
3. Organisers made the artiste band travel all the way to Ghana.
4. Artiste incurred losses for this trip

So — they( organisers) are not entitled to a refund.
