At the Ongoing 2024 annual Prayer Convocation at the Zion Praise Chapel International with Bishop Bernard Ogyiri-Asare, the leader and Founder for Operation Truth-USA, Apostle Lisa Veney delivered an electrifying message that left the hearts of the congregation ablaze and their spirits ignited with the power of the Holy Spirit!
Speaking on the theme ‘Make Room for Upgrade’, she emphasized on Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
In her sermon, Apostle Lisa said that as human beings we need to believe in God, if we want to have a way through the desert for our lives. We cannot walk through the desert when there is no trust and belief in our God.
“He has something better and different for you but it’s going to require you to keep moving forward even through a dangerous, hostile and inhospitable wilderness. I am making a path in the wilderness and am refreshing you with streams of living water in the desert that as you walk in obedience to Me, you are constantly walking away from what was and walking towards what will be. This path is not for one person but for people. What God is going to do, man cannot do it in our lifetime because God’s way is a supernatural success. Supernatural is something man cannot do but only God. So whatever anyone is believing for should be consistent with God.”
Apostle Lisa further cited Psalm 37: 19 “they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance”. She said, if we truly worship God, we will overcome famine and God defies all odds for we are not afraid of all situations.
“If we want to be Upgrade, we should forget the former things. We cannot hold onto the old things but put it behind. By putting away the pains, the sickness and all things that holds us backwards of our life because we are people of miracles and power.”
She stressed that, God has deposited in us the power to make things happen and he is the one to make way in the desert for us, it is time to believe that God is supernatural and he did not call us to be weary of the dry place but make a way to God for Upgrade.
